FRPP / Whipple Supercharger Install....

PART#1 The Parts

Well Guys,

Box#1 Finally arrived today. Box# 2 is being delivered tomorrow. 10/5

Box#1 came with everything required to install the blower. I have to give mad KUDO's to Whipple for their neat and organized boxing of these parts. Every part is individually baged and Labeled with a Whipple Part# and description of the part. WOW I'm impressed.

Box#1 Containted:

Ford Racing Spark Plugs

Ford Racing Fuel Injectors

Cold Air Intake Arm

Supercharger Belt

GT500 Fuel Pump

Thermostat

Intercooler

Intercooler Piping

Intercooler Pump

Intercooler Wiring

Fuel Pump Wiring

Bolts & Nuts

Manifold Gasket

Box#2 contains the rest, including BLOWER!! I can't wait!

And I drop the car off Friday to have it installed this weekend!

Here are some pics of Box#1, I will take pics of Box#2 when it arrives tomorrow and I sure will leave the camera for the installer to take pics of the install process and take dyno videos.

Enjoy guys.....

Well just took a trip to the installer. The KIT IS INSTALLED!!!! He was in the middle of hooking up the rest of the wiring for the TPS extension and the T/B extention, put fluids in the intercooler, put the belt on, put the CAI on, install the gauges and putting the stock pullies back on. (since i had steeda pullies on).

Overall, the installer said the installation was a BREEZE!!! Evrything was detail orineted and well put together!

Now the only dramatic part is the ECU being sent out first thing tomorrow! soon as we get the ECU back, we can put her up on the dyno and take her for a spin!

def. keep you all posted.......

in the meantime, here's a teaser!

after you pick it up let me know how loud it is. i'm looking to get one next year, but don't want one with the whine.

does the ford racing SC keep your warranty?

the warranty issue is still up in the air between Ford and Ford Racing, but its a possibilty it WILL be covered!

as for the whine, the whine is not BAD! All superchargers are gonna have whine! the whine on the whipple really doesn't kick in unless your wide open throttle in the 4000 RPM range from what I've seen and heard in person.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! It's ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

we put the ECU in today and fired her right up and WOW!!!!! She was ROARIN!!!!! OMG she is a beat now!!!! Wow, i can't stop saying wow...............WOW!!!

We even took her for a spin, and HOLY S*****!!!! The car is a whole different car. It's like putting a C&L Intake and Bamachips Tune X5!!!!!! I am very very very very very pleased with this blower and recommend it to everyone!!

Once again my installer said this was A GREAT KIT and a BREEZE to install, for this was HIS FIRST 05 Mustang Supercharger install, and he did a PHENOMINAL JOB!!!! He quoted me $950 for the job, but for that kind of job, I'm cutting him a check for $1200 cause he deserves it!!

Here is the FIRST VIDEO, THE FIRST STARTUP with the ECU and the blower on!!!
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...t=MOV01985.flv

and here's a vid of the REVING, listen to that blower!! (sorry for it being dark)
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...t=MOV01986.flv

and here are some of the install pics!!!
