Hellion turbo is here
Just got my Hellion kit in on Tuesday. I ordered the T-76mmbb kit with the ugpraded heat shield and bov.. I didn't know that would delete the injectors, so I had to drop down some more money yesterday for 60lb injectors and my gauges (nexus wideband, boostvac, sos dual pillar).
I should be getting it installed by the local shop here close to me (MAK Performance in Hialeah) within the next couple of weeks. I'll keep you all updated on it -- will also post a vid of 0-60/100 before and after.

Awesome. The 76s are good for an efficient 25+ lbs of boost. And if that's not enough, just do what I did.....add nitrous...lol. Your next challenge will likely be traction.

Sounds sick man. You running that 76mm on a stock motor, if so use caution that is a huge turbo!!!!

Should be fine as long as he doesn't get greedy with the boost. I upgraded to a 76 from a 67. Noticed a slight lag with the change up.

I'm so jealous of you turbo guys. I want it so bad!!!! I'm kinda stuck to the point where I need to do a engine build when I do it. I also intend on doing an STS setup so I can keep my longtubes. Maybe after this deployment I'll do the single turbo, do a small shot of nitrous to assist in spooling and just upgrade to the twins as the funds come. I love my nitrous, it just breaks my heart because its not always there

I'm going to stick with 10psi until I upgrade the motor.. how bad of a lag should I be expecting with the 76 @ 10psi? The next thing I'm investing in is my tires and rims, after that I'm not really sure if I should throw down for a stroker kit or for some suspension mods =/

Suspension. Why bother with all that power if you cant get it to the ground.

10 lbs of boost is 10 lbs of boost regardless of turbo size. The 76 is just more efficient at the higher boost levels and also offers more lbs of boost. The larger the turbo unit, the more mass there is to spool. Lag is irrelevant for my car because it does not street race and it's set up for dragracing that eliminates any lag. But there a noticeable hesitation when you accelerate hard from a roll... but when it kicks in, you had better be going in a straight line on a dry surface.

i agree and disagree about suspension. i agree that it's more important than getting more power available. i think though if you have the funds readily available to do one or the other then i'd go with the engine. it's much much easier to piece together your suspension. you can't piece together an engine.....well i guess you kinda can, but you'd have parts just sitting there waiting till you get all of them.
