power steering


and....ive ran into a problem leaving work the other day i was coming to a stop at a light and while sitting there im just playing turning the wheel back and fourth and all of a sudden the wheel stiffens up like my steering pump went out and it stayed stiff for a while even while driving but normally it lightened up a lil while moving...and it did it once again this morning anybody have any ideas or had similar problems

First thing, have you checked your p/s fluid level? Aside from that, have you modified the pulleys/belt? What year car do you have and how long have you owned it? Sole owner, or used?

yeah that was the first thing i checked but the fluid levels fine but the year is 08, this month makes it a year old, and no i have pullies but there not installed yet

The bitch about things like this is that as soon as you go to the dealer they won't be able to replicate the problem. Short of the p/s pump going bad, not sure what else it could be.
