does any one have a dyno on stock auto
ok me and my buddy are in a little bit of a bet. he has a 2009 cobalt ss turbo which is a 5 speed and i have a automatic 2008 mustang its stock and he is showing me his dyno and i was wondering if any one has a 2007-2008 mustang gt AUTO dyno that you could send me.

i don't have a dyno sheet but i think i race one with a turbo don't know if it was a auto or manual but i won so u might take him!

yea they are all manuals if its a turbo but me and him are going to race soon but he is still in the break-in period for the turbo in his car. so i guess we will see

U shouldnt have a problem taking him out, ur gonna jump on him in the begining and he wont be able to catch up.... if its stock for stock. And if u get an intake with chip , ur gonna beat even better!!!

Check out brenspeeds tech section. one of their cars is an auto and you maybe able to find an original dyno on that. I know they have some dynos on that auto going from bolt ons to cams and such.

Those cars are fast dont think nothing of them....
WITH ONLY A REFLASH... 13.2 all day at the track.... They also have that new tranny where you dont have to let off the gas to shift... Be very careful get some mods... I test drove one with my buddies the other day and they are certainly not slow...

thats why im asking cause ive rode in it and with the launch control and no lift shift its one fast 4 cylendar and i will have to get him to show me the dyno again. i forget waht it is.

yea well you need some gears. get your stang up in the rpms where its happy and the mustang is no joke. also im not sure what this no lift shift thing on a chevy is but i have been "no lift shifting" everytime i race for 74000 miles and two years with no issue. I didnt get the memo that said my ford couldnt already do that

run um from what i am reading low 14s 1/4 mile and tell him you already have a no lift gas trans its called automatic

yea thats pretty much what it is but it will eat stock srt-4s up all day. lol but yea when he hits that 1,200 miles mark im going to race him. im going to try to get it on video so ill tell you guys how it goes when we do race.

WHERE IS FORDS 4 CYLENDAR TURBO CAR?!?!?!?!? you see the srt4 (dodge) and the cobalt ss (chevy) ford needs a car like these THATS NOT A FOCUS.

a dyno sheet is nothing but a piece of paper with some scriblly lines and numbers on it. u want something to compare? take it to the track and film it. |

i think your going to lose from roll. the cobalt ss/tc's can dyno anywhere between 235-245whp...a mustang gt (auto) dynos 250-260whp. those things are trapping higher speeds in the quartermile then GT's, so your best bet is from a dig.

yeah i know...but im saying they trap higher.....BUT....i think a few have ET times of high 13's (google it for me, alot of sites are blocked on this company computer)...i think its a faster car then a S197 GT, the FWD just kills its times. the New MustangGTs better have some decent power because hyundai's even have faster cars now lol.
