Some of us have a few thousand miles on our Bullitts. I got my Bullitt 2029 in February of this year with 2.1 miles on it. Now I have 5200 mile on my Beast. This is what I've done this year.
1. Couple burnout's
2. 5 car shows "3 trophy's"
3. 6 cruses with my local clubs
4. 3 mods
5. New tranny " 300 mile on the car" I was looked out of 3rd gear at the time
6. @ 40 coats of Zaino's polish and @ 10 cases of beer consumed
7. I haven't lost a race yet!
It's almost time to put my baby away for the winter.
This is my thoughts on my old 08 Bullitt.
Shifter is WAY better now.
Car seems faster.
Owning and driving the Bullitt is like scratching itch that I couldn't reach for years!
It is the best car I've ever owned.

LOL, that is a good summer.

Mine would be something like this: (not a bullit of course)

1. I have no idea how many burnouts, it's a lot and I'll leave it at that.
2. too many car shows, lost count, trophies in all but 1.
2.5 Won 500.00 check at Mountain Due - Devry sponsored show
3. 0 cruises this year. Going to plan and host a large fall one.
4. Cracked the tailshaft on the trans, fixed by me, and part was covered under warranty
5. 1 claybar session in the spring, 2 waxings, and 1 polish
6. Evo's still refuse to believe this mustang walks them so easily.
7. Feature coming in force fed magazine, using photos taken by yours truly.

While I wouldn't say it's the best car I have owned, it's in my top 3 or 4 and is the largest attention getter by far. This one will stay in the family until I'm in a casket, unless someone comes with significant money.

1. bent tensioner, squealing belt and pulleys. fixed w/ thumprrr tensioner and 8 rib kit
2. 1 show, didnt place, but I won the rumble/exhaust contest
3. 15 coats of paint sealant, chemical guys XXX hardcore carnuba wax, zaino.
4. 2 cruises
5. a few appearance mods

this summer was better than last for my GT, so i guess was pretty good.

broke nothing
got addicted to drag racing and modding
spent myself into needing a part time job
smoked a lot of cars
dont even get a second look at a car show and love every minute of it

1. Went to Mustang week at Myrtle Beach but didn't enter
2. Worked entirely too much
3. Entered a small show at a local church won my class
3.5 Did I mention that I was the only one in my class?
4. Didn't wreck
5. Raced my mom's mini van and almost beat her
6. I love my mustang and unless something happens will have for many many years to come
