Tuning question...


If I have my SCT3 plugged into my OBDII and my laptop plugged into that... Can I tune my car??? My buddy wants to tune my car tonight he normally uses Hondata KPRO though...

Just a quick question...

i think you could, but i wouldnt do it. the k20 motors are so different then ours; unless, he has some experience with the "new" gt's. hondata program is alot easier in tuning through labtop, then it would for the new mustangs.

Yea he tuned his own 2006 GTO but i dont know if he will know this program...

No he cannot tune it. The reason being, unless you have the complete software package from SCT (either Dealer, calibrator or Pro-Racer) all you can change is the settings your tuner allows you to change with the device.

You can buy the Pro-Racer Package and the Computer code just for your car and tune it, but would that be wise?
