So - the wife and I order a new 2008 from the factory - about 30K, w/ the HID lamps and the side impact airbags..
no go. Too late to get a 2008, but we'll sell you a 2009...
No deal. gotta have the invoice numbers, otherwise, I'm getting
ripped off...
Suggest a 2008 Solstice to the wife. Sexy car. That is great until she sees one - "it's half a car"!

So - I show her what is too expensive, too exclusive - a new 2008 350Z!
Guess what it is in the garage - a black Z, base, no cruise control, but
every airbag available on a new car! It's like - I went for a nuke and got a sexy black dress. I feel - grateful. It's weird.

Congrats on the Z...and theres a shit load of '08 GT's sitting around here on dealer's lots with $4000. rebates going on.

yea i was getting ready to say. dealership at my house has like 5 08s. they have a white CS i was thinking about snagging as another car. put a shaker hood on it, put my black bullits on that car and paint the spoiler flat black.

Congrats on the new car, and just to rub it in some:

Got a call from our local dealer who sponsors one of our cars to tell me they needed to sell some of the '08 cars to make room for '09's. Go and take a look and drove out yesterday with a new '08 fully loaded with HID's, and MAch 1000 for $23,300.00

They are out there to be had, just look if you seriously want one.

Hell, one of our customers, just purchased a 2006 Windveile Blue car, fully loaded with an Auto and a Saleen Supercharger for $20.000.00 and drove it home. Car had 650 Miles on it.

sounds like a plan! I think the black bullitts with the flat black spoiler would look awesome on the white body.

Congrats on the Z. Why were you so set on ordering the car? Side impact air bags are standard for 2008. Maybe the HID's?
