i was wondering how much rwhp stock rods and pistons can with stand saftly. from what i understand the crank can hold 600hp but im not sure as to what the other stuff can handle?
Yes. But keep in mind that at that power level there is always a chance you could pop something. Some engines just last longer than others.
The most important thing, particularly if you're going forced induction, as it sounds like you are thinking to achieve that power, is the tune. A bad tune can grenade your engine right on the dyno before it even hits the street.
jpc racing does a core transfer program where they bolt a stock aluminum block that has been stroked to a 302, complete bottom end for about $4,500.00ish. But they might not be in your area if you are going for a built bottom end and not mear maryland then go livernois. And stock you can go 500rwhp but it will matter how you do it. Not on a twinscrew, but on a centri you can, and I'm not sure on a turbo or nitrous.
