Went to order my 2007 Shelby GT

Well my wife and I came to an agreement to go ahead and purchase a Shelby GT. I went to the local Ford place and spoke with the salesman about the car. He did not know anything about it and said that he would call me the next day. Well he called and told me that they have one coming in the is Black and Silver. I asked him how much the car was and he stated that the sales manager told him it should be 32K to 33K. I told him that we would be in the next day to sign the contract. Well, I get a call this morning from my salesman. He proceeds to tell me that they will not sell the car for what they quoted me and that they would not determine a price until it comes in. I was willing to purchase the vehicle a little over MSRP but this is unacceptable. Well this means we will find another dealership and wait until we can order a Boss Mustang in 2008.

thats alot for a GT...shelbyGT?
they make a GTS....ive never heard of a Shelby GT...aside from the SHelby GT-500
dont the GTs go for like 28k...
'which i think is alot...GT's used to be 21k new back in the new edge days

yeah i thinkn the shelby gt 500 runs for like a little less then 40k and the gts like the 1 that im lookin at is around 23k but without all the accesories u can fin it for like 19 if ur lucky...

no way, if you find a GT-500 for under 40k you buy that no questions asked and sell it
that car goes for lik 60k
and maybe a used GTS for 23k...not no 07s though, i dont even think youll find an 06 for that good a price

you might be thinking about V6 mustangs when you say 19,000.. the INVOICE for a new GT deluxe, and i mean with NOTHING on it is no less than 24,000.. and i highly doubt (unless you have a friend that is a dealer that wont over charge you) that you will get a car for invoice

i just paid 26k for my 07 GT premium with literally every option except the shaker 1000 and the locking lug nuts. the sticker says 31k. so far the heated seats are the best part when it's like 20 degrees outside

Wow how does everyone NOT know about the Shelby GT? The Shelby GT is a production version of the GT-H or the Hertz mustang. I'll buy me a Boss thanks. Body kit and 25hp doesn't constitute the markup. Thats stupid. Same as the California Special. What a load of garbage. Wait, everyone else buy those things and save at least one Boss for me. Thanks.

I really wanted one, so that because its a shelby. Now that we are not buying it, we will wait until the Boss comes out.

dude they didnt even sell the 99-04 GTs that low new

they are not selling any brand new GT's for 21k deffinitly not 19 and not 23 either...maybe the v6...not the GT

i got my 06 gt for 26,500 loaded with the shaker 1000 and the sticker was in the 30k range.
my brother in-law got quoted today at my dealership for 34,000 for the shelby GT. which is the same as the gt-h (325hp) but you get to turn off traction control and you get a hurst short shifter.

For the 3 Shelby GT -500's that we have sold at our dealership the convert sold for $60,000.... $15,000 over MSRP a coupe sells for about $43,000. Surprised to actually see that Shelby GT myself in the picture above. Working at a dealership think I would have seen it first lol. Waiting to see those Bosses come through the door. Ford should bring back the 427 like Dodge brought back the Hemi. It would compliment the look of the car as well.
