Best 1/4 mile time ever
ok i did 2 runs yesterday that will tell you something
allright her is one of them I rasied air pressure in my MT ET's and ran a 12.69@111 MPH 60ft time 1.906 next run i try to give it a bit more seeing as i got a better time slipping a bit off the line. 15.989@105.36 MPH 2.7 60 ft time 9.1 1/8th mile at 70 MPH i burned the mt et's at 23 PSI half way down the track and still hit over 105 I missed 4th gear 2x running a 12.80 the car is strong i think that i need 3.73's or 3.96's to make up for my terrible 60ft'ers this is my daily driver and i try to conserve a bit on gas so i don't wanna go back to my 4.10's due to the power i put out. the 4.10's i love but with street tires even traction with 3.55 is a problem. |

not enough to make for that slow of times! I'm sliding all over the track on 20" street tires with just bolt ons hitting a way better 1/8th than that! I've heard that 19psi is the magic number on those MT et's. I've never ran them, but my buddies run theirs at that psi.

If you are bogging, that means you need to launch harder... not turn the psi up so you spin more!

Go to a 3.73, but that's not your problem, your actual launch is the issue. Take the mt's down to 17-18 lbs, and leave hard. 3800 or better, nothing less. Those mt's should have no issue holding that, and your bog should be gone.

hell i run close to those times with my bolt on car, so your launch MUST be your problem. the M/Ts can hold your car, i run 17 to 19 psi (depends on time of day, heat, etc) and launch my car HARD at about 6k and it can still hook.

The best thing to do then is to drop the pressure in those MTs and give her hell.

the point i try to make here is that the stang is super strong in the top the numbers can dramatically improve down low.

so you got a 15.9 in the quarter and you think you were better up top? not so fast my friend... you got a 9.1 1/8th mile time which means you should of gotten somewhere in the high 13's to low 14's... you actually got worse up top.
