Ready to order FR500 soon

But will you all please clear some stuff up on this.
im going to get the FR500 18" rims but what about the tires im going to get Nittro of course, but i hear people talking about you can get it wider in the rear to get more grip and then you cant rotate the tires i kinda get it but on my FR500 rims do i buy all 4 same tires or can i get wider tire in the back for better grip or idk im confused please explain.
My dad going to buy them as a early birthday gift.

Yep...get the deep dish for the back...will take different tires and since they are a directional tread, you won't be able to rotate them.

You'll love them! Are you ordering from American Muscle?

The site will tell you which tires to order for that rim as well....let me find my order and I'll tell you what I had...gimme a sec

I think you should be okay with that....you may just contact them over the phone or call your local Ford dealership to be sure...I think that started in 07 though...

Hope it helped! Be sure and post up pics when you get them in!

Yeah we do...I can't remember who it was that you get it from though...Juco do you remember??

No need to check with the ford dealer... you are correct mama. started in 07. I will never recommend ordering rims and tires through an online site, but lots of people do. So just ignore my recommendation. If something goes wrong with one of those rims or tires who are you gonna go to? What happens if they guy who balanced your tire was a little lazy that day or the tire is out of round? You just gonna take it to your local american muscle store? *ending online rim site rant* You know most places will do a price match, so you aren't saving any money

Juco makes a good point....I got a flogging this weekend from my Ford dealer...they'll beat any price by 1 dollar just to get your biz....

But - they didn't have the FR500's...and I'm lazy.

I did have a good experience with American Muscle though and lots of others have too. I'm sure if something was wrong, they'd make it right.

yes they look differant... they are an inch thinner They will look good together. The front rims won't have as much of a lip as the back rims, but they look good that way.
