all it is, is the front plastic lens is removed and they put a sealed glass headlight in it....i love that look

I would think that you could disassemble the headlight housing and paint that part then reseal it.

You have to bake the head lights to soften the seal. Then take it apart to paint it. There's a few write ups about this through the forums. Check TMS. Also check ebay for some extra headlights in case you melt them in the oven. LOL...

that doesnt appear to have the lens nor does it appear that it ever did. I say they are custom or aftermarket. I thought I heard the new stang that is coming out will have lights like that. I am glad they are if so...the lens over the headlights are the only thing I hate about the 05's and up. I wouldnt have painted the gills red though...that looks extremely cheasy and cheap. they should paint the complete housing black or the same color as the car. the embossing the gills make are enough depth and shadow to enhance the look. red on a blue car sticks out like a soar thumb...IMO
