Rocker Stripes Installed

To keep up with my '67 GT 350 tribute theme I picked up a set of rocker stripes from Baltimore Street Mods. The graphics were 3M matte black vinyl and it is amazing how much better the quality is than other vinyl co.'s (Avery, Oracal etc...). There were no visible bubbles or flaws immediately after installing and removing the backing paper. With every other vinyls that I have installed, it normally is a PITA to get the backing paper to release and takes a week or so before all of the air / moisture bubbles lay out. It only took me an hour start to finish with a little help from the wife to get everything lined up straight. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Just an FYI...BSM will do pretty much any custom rocker for $34.99 + $5 for shipping and they include a squeegee and a great set instructions.

Since you're doing a gt350 tribute car, it's going to be performance/visuals? Or just the visual?

There will be performance mods as well. I'm just knocking out the visual stuff first. I've only had the car for a little over 4 months now and am working on a budget. I'm really only lacking a Cervini's 67 Hood and a set of wheels to complete the exterior stuff. I haven't made up my mind about whether or not I'm going to add the lower side scoops.

As of right now I'm waiting on my SCT X3 w/ Brenspeed tune to arrive later this week so I can install my Steeda CAI and inlet elbow. There will be 4.10's and hopefully full exhaust in the near future.

Hi coolhandluke your car looks great. meant to ask you have you tried a heat gun? it worked pretty good for me. obviously u have to be gentle and do it from a distance. by the way u will notice a good difference when u do the CAI with the SCT, have fun

I don't own a heat gun. I did use a hair dryer though...it worked great.

Just tell them to

I haven't ran into any haters so far. Mostly people who say "I almost bought one of those"... (I have no clue what they're talking about since there is no GT 350...maybe a Shelby GT???)

I always make sure to tell people that it's an 06 GT that I'm doing a '67 GT 350 tribute theme with. I don't try to pass it off as a real Shelby.

Help me get ahold of Israel's FR500's and you've got a deal.

Seriously though. When I find a set of wheels and sell my polished Bullitts you'll be the first to know.

I have a long list of wheels that I'm looking at...

Deep Dish/ Staggered FR500's
Shelby Razors
Shelby CS66
Shelby CS67
Shelby Redlines
Deep Dish/ Staggered Bullitts or Shelby Torque Thrust

Oh BTW...I'll take the Hurst too.
