I just purchased 275/40/18 Nitto 555's. I have had them balanced at 3 different places including one who does force balancing. No one can seem to get them balanced perfectly. I was told today that it is the tire and not a balance issue. They told me that because of the tread type it will be impossible to get them perfect. Anyone else have an experience like this?

I have the same tire on my care and have had no problems really like them

I also have the same tires on mine and do not have any balancing problems, the only weird thing is the cold weather seems to effect the pressure differently in each tire, when I check the pressure it is never the same tire that is different.
Are you trying to have the weights only on the inside? because if that is what you are trying to do it will make it much harder to balance, when I had mine done they told me they could try to hide the weights on the back side but there was no guaranty that tires would ever properly balance. So I chose proper balancing over looks.
