SOS Gauge Pod

I dont know, but I guess it must be my luck I installed my SOS pillar pod yesterday evening and I must say the fit is horrendous. The lower pod was soo big I had to wrap electrical tape around the gauge to keep it to stay in. The lower one is also at little tilted downwards but it's not too noticable. That's not what I expected after reading all the good reviews about them. To top it off, now I got the Interceptor gauges in there and the#@$% glass plate in the gauge is ratteling. Give me a fucking gun.................

Sorry dude, that sucks... I have heard nothing but good things and have had no issues with their products in the past. Have you tried contacting them to explain your issues? Seeing as how they are a reputable company they would send you out a new one rather than taking a blemish on their reputation...

Just my 0.02...

They will make that right no questions asked, Alan is one of the most customer driven people I have ever met. Call him, or email him and he will straighten it out.

Yup, the match is perfect. It looks like they are taken a factory pillar, drill it and mont their pods to it. Perfect color match.

+1 to all the comments about Alan!

btw - the pods have to be a bit bigger so u can get the gauges in. Alan suggest to me (and it works great) to use the "soft" side of Velcro tape on the top and bottom of the gauge, fits snug and lets you remove easily if needed.

I just emailed him. It's just the bottom one of the two and it's way too big. The top one almost fit perfect. I did make it work by wrapping electrical tape around the gaue, it does stay in now. I'll see what he says.
