possible problems?

My original tune appeared to be having issues on cold starts, almost sounded like the car was dying when I would get into gear and try to move. Thankfully that issue has not occurred the past week or so since I took it in again to be looked at. But I had an issue the last time I was at the track with not getting any acceleration/power in the upper RPM ranges, like slower than stock. I'm trying to diagnose what the issue is, whether it is some kind of mechanical problem or a leak in the intake, or if it is a tuning issue. The car runs fine as normal, but it seems like above 3k rpm I'm not seeing any kind of power. Hopefully I'll find time this weekend to pop apart my intake arm and check all of the sleeves for any leaks, I'm also gonna put back on my old air filter and see if that makes any difference. Any other ideas out there? I have had issues of exhaust leaks before with my pypes o/r h pipe, but would that cause this kind of power loss?

Does sound more like a spark issue.. not an intake problem.

yes I just did a log but haven't loaded it up yet, was trying to capture data on the bogging going on, but might try it again for a higher RPM to see what's going on.

I'll have to take a look at the plugs tonight when I get home, never done it before so what should I be looking for? just a fouling of the plug?

First you'll be looking to make sure none broke or weird corrosion or soote is developing, second you'll be looking for a nice golden brown color too them, no white, and no black.

Thanks for the help, the guy that works at the shop where I had my install done is gonna help me out tonight checking them, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that's the solution to this. I'd like to go get some reliable numbers down before the weather fully changes over.

Reps were given out, thanks again

Alrighty, so took it to the shop, checked out the plugs and they all seemed fine, no black/brown on them, a pretty good off-white color since the car hadn't been on for more than 15 minutes to drive over there. Checked out if there was any kind of an issue with my MAFia sensor, but it was functioning properly. Went for a quick test run and showed him just how poorly it ran above 3k RPM. He's thinking it's an issue with the tune and is gonna call the place up to see what might be wrong and about a dyno session again.

Any other input on what it might be if it isn't the tune?
