November 7th, HRP!!

Anyone in Houston plan on going to HRP friday night? I'm headin down with a couple guys from the Houston Mustang Club- be great to see some people down there!

gotta see if I can bust the 12's.

P.s. Anyone whos going have a set of DR's I could borrow for a pass?

I don't have money to buy any lol

depends on the night.

I usually make anywhere from 4-8

Once I got only 1 pass...the last night they were open for about 2 months- not to mention it was a balming 30 degrees or so...everyone was there

i in ft hood/killen i got to the track in temple its so awsome i get to run atleast 14 times at thats befor the street comp comes for braket raceing

Ill be there. I believe blhondguy will be too. im looking to make my first 12 sec and 11sec pass. Car should be done by then.

Yeah, I'm shootin for my first 12. It'd be a deffinate if I had some DRs...

I might make it down there this winter sometime after my track shuts it down... I will need to put more miles on her before I take a roady though... up to about 730mi w/o any runs at the strip... 10 hr drive.. no problem!!!

Hey mustangjon I got a set of MTs 275/40/17 in my garage that we might be able to get you a couple passes on. They are pretty worn down you can still see the lines but just barely. I am willing to bring them if you wanna try em.

Are they mounted? They'll fit the S197 right? ...just makin sure so I don't get my hopes up

yeah they will fit. I was going to use them one day, but the track was closed after the hurricane for longer than I had thought. I ended up trying to run with them on the street...You need SOME tread at least if you're going to get traction with them on the street

But I'm sure at the track they will be good for a few runs.
