new cams installed need break in?

do you need to run the motor at a certain rpm to break in new cams, like on a push rod motor?

Better safe than sorry.

Did you spin each of them in the head before you installed? Double check specs of each cam?

Better to do what you know is right...

we have Hydraulic roller camshafts correct? If so then you do not need to break them in. Now if you changed your springs then I would be gentle with them for awhile. Just make sure you are at running temp before really hitting it hard.
