Well if it is lowered or if your pinion angle is off then yes you will need one.

Whats the cost of that steeda upper? its 279 here. I can crush that with a bmr upper adjustable, probably even after shipping and the converstion.

i dont know if you need it? probably for the way you use the car, your not going for track times, and the fact that your not lowering the car, or getting a 1 peice driveshaft i would say you dont need adjustable. Unless you plan on doing any of those things.

what you do need is the heavy duty mount at your power level. and that doesnt include the new mount.

The adjustable upper steeda with the mounting bracket on that site is 361 canadian. thats what 300 u.s?

If you have non-adjustable LCA's get a adjustable UCA. That way its one adjustment for pinion and eventyually if you lower your car you are ready to go. Just don't forget a HD mount as well.

07 procharger: If the upper control arm you're looking at is #555-4096 (and based on the price you cited, I think it is), you should read the description on Steeda's site (Steeda Upper 3rd Link Control Arm - '05-'09 Ford Mustang), which says:

"Note: Steeda's non-adjustable upper third link (555-4096) is intended for use on lowered vehicles only. Other options available for stock ride height. Please call for details."

I just wanted to make sure you knew that since you're sure you'll never lower it.

yeah you need it. Because your car is not lowered the non adjustible will not fit right. The adjustible will help on a lowered and non lowered car. It can also fine tune the stock setup to help keep the rear end planted perfect. I'm getting the steeda adj 3rd link personally.

Ok. Lowering is not the only reason you would want to adjust your pinion angle. Its just the most common reason. A lot of guys like to run more negative pinion angle when drag racing to get the tires to load up correctly. By shifting the pinion angle you also shift the power transfer to your tires. When you adjust the pinion angle more negative you transfer more wieght starting at the front of the tire so you get a larger contact patch. At least that is what I have been told. I have never messed with the pinion angle setting on my car so I can't tell you from experience.\

Ask RStrick0352 about pinion angle. I believe he runs a quite aggressive pinion angle and has great results.
