Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels
This is the tire I'm looking at. Would the 315/30/18 look and fit well on an 18x10? Or would I be better off with a 305/45/18? This will be for the street and the drag strip. -------------------------------------------------- Or should I go with nittos again? |

30 is a reall short sidewall. I should think you would want something with a little more flex in the sidewall. I beleive those tires run pretty narrow and I thought a few guys here were running them on 10 inchers but I can't remeber for sure who it was.

haven't used them yet. I'm actually lowered too far to use them. I'm sending them back and getting the 305/40/18's. they will fit perfect on a car with the prokit drop or less. won't fit with the sportlines though. There is only about an 1/8th of an inch between the fenderwell and the sidewall. I'll rip my sidewall launching. Didn't want to take the chance and also didn't want to change the look of my car with the 20's on it so i sent them back and decided to go smaller.

I'm running the 305/40/18 nitto drag radials now, but I would like to run Mickey Thompsons for the track and street to handle the nitrous better.
That's why I was looking at the 305/45/18 Mickeys so I could launch it hard at the track. |

Wish i could. Current boss is a little more controlling on the hook ups. I know i could at least sell them to you for cheaper than anywhere else.
