Turbonetics 76mm Turbo???

Ok I am uninformed on the subject of power adders, what exactly is a Turbonetics 76mm Turbo for an 05-09, and if said "turbo" was found for $500 would this be a good deal???

Any info appreciated....

yes it would be a good deal on a NEW 76mm turbo. But you will still need all the other stuff to bolt it up to the car. (intercooler, exhaust pipeing, intake pipeing, waste gate, bov). I think it is a $700 - $1000 upgrade to the kit.

That is a good deal on the turbo, but a 76mm turbo is a lot for a stock car, unless you plan on building it later on.

i believe forensicsteve is running a 76mm turbo on his car, and makes crazy power, to upgrade the kit for 500$ is a great deal, but if the car is mainly street driven i wouldnt recommend it, a 67mm or even the base turbo for the kit i believe is like a 60mm is capable of making over 600hp, i would do a 76mm on a built motor

I would go for the 76mm.. the lag is very minimal, and you're leaving options open for the future if you ever _decide_ to take the car further..

Haven't taken the car to the track yet man. I've got Pirelli PZERO Rosso's on 19" OZ Superleggera's. I'm planning on getting _just_ Pirelli PZERO's -- these Rosso's suck IMO =/

+1 on getting turbo.

you need to be able to go fast before looking good.

looking good but being slow just doesnt work.

thats what ricers do. and noone likes a ricer.
