What should put me over...

8.8 in the 1/8
well today i got stab in the back by one of my what i thought was a freind.
He started talking shit me for no reason
but my real freind had my back.
Well where sopes to race at the 1/8 track the best he put down in a ls1 tran am is a 8.8 My freind told him motor for motor and i get to use drag radials and he has to keep his street tires on at the track. He doent even have drag radial any ways.
Well i was running a 9.1 at the track with street tires.
Now when we race im going to have 4.10 gears and drag radials my freinds letting me borrow his.
What elese should i get before the race ?? I got around 800-1000G to spend.
I wanna shut this prick down.

dude if you ran a 9.1 on street tires, you will run about an 8.7 with DR's with no other mods...you are about to install those cams and 4:10s...you should hit low 8's...you will smoke him.

BK with those cams in my car and 4.10s i was running 8.1 1/8s with mickeys. and 8 something on street tires as well. i would have to look at some old post of mine but i think i was doing 88mph in the 1/8. If this is a bolt on trans am your gonna destroy him.

here is from my best run.

60ft 1.822 1/4 12.539 @ 111.52 .....full tenth off my best without powershifting second or third. could have been a faster run. tenth by tenth i guess. Im happy with it. oh an 1/8 of 8.098

in july heat and maryland humidity right here dude.

bolt on trans am killer man.

yea can see the LSD is gone in that vid. Only one wheel spinning and sideways off the line.

Dude, i'm an 1/8th mile racer. You'll already have him smoked with just the 4.10's going in. Before i got my 4.10's, i couldn't get past 9.05. After 4.10's, i'm now running 8.6's. I haven't been to the track yet on my drag radials but i'm hoping for an 8.3.
