Winter storage question (and new winter mod)

I was not able to find/afford covered/heated/etc storage for the car, so she'll be spending some time under a cover and getting the occasional weekend drive when its not snowy/icy/salty out.

Seeing as I still plan on driving her a bit to keep the fluids moving, do I really need to do anything else besides add some Stabil to a full tank of gas when she sits?

Here is my winter beater Not bad for $1000, eh? Just needs new tires (getting installed Saturday), and the typical fluid and filter changes when you buy anything used.

Keep a trickle charger on it like a "Battery Tender'
Over inflate your tires by about 5lbs (helps avoid flat spots from sitting)

Good call 1FUN. I will indeed make sure tire pressure is up a bit. I also have a trickle charger, and regular charger, but I don't have an outside electrical outlet

On a side note, the truck is rusty as all hell. Anyone know of any good "rust stopping" products?

I'm moving into a new house (with a GARAGE!!!) in the next month or two, so I'm not too concerned at this point with putting any more money into a rental home.

I'll be starting and/or driving the car 1-2 times per week during the winter, so is it really that necessary?

its not nesessary at all dude. you have a basically brand new car. its not a 45 year old car that needs 2 hours to warm up lol... it wont kill it to sit for a few days

not sure if it matters.. i have my stored in my pole barn.. i start it up once a week.
but before i do i train aobut a quart of oil and put it back through my engine before i start it up.. trying to help prevent are wear and tear becuase of tried seals or anything not being lubricated enough when you start it.
