The pullies are not that hard to install. The crank pully is the worst of the two though. Radiator gets in the way. But bang for buck, you will notice a vast improvement in performance and you will need a tune. But it is worth it.

man, i gotta tell you. I feel strange even saying it...but the 2007 GT factory exhaust already sounds bad ass. I'm afraid i will be trading apples for apples. My god, its what, 2.5 inch pipe all the way to the headers ????

yes they do sound good, but change your 4 cats to two very high flow cats and your mufflers and it'll sound grrreat! it's well worth it.

Not everything for $400, he said $400 each
1. Gears. The best bang for the buck. Just make you find a good shop to install
2. Tuner ( I like the Xcal 2) then take it to a shop and have it dyno tuned.
You probably won't have the other $400 to spend after getting gears installed and a dyno tune, but eithe UD pulleys or CMCV delete plates.

i love my tri-axe shifter. you can slam the gears all day and it's just as tight as it gets. the factory shifter is way way to mushy.

ill agree on the stock exhaust sounding great! I just picked up my GT 3 days ago and i love the sound. im still getting the exhaust done, i just dont know what brand, etc to go with yet. my old pony was flowmaster 40 series with stock h-pipe (cats gutted) and shorty headers.

that was a nice rumble.

Having been down this road, I would suggest an XCAL2 + Charge motion delete plates next. (400 each) Then another few hundred for install and custom dyno tune.

Then do the shifter + gears or pullies.

Hey TDog,

Cheesy video here, but I thought it was a good comparison of stock vs. loudmouth. It had me sold on 'em

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAe-9R-jZE8

I have them myself and cant get enough. Significantly louder than stock exhaust. Just be sure you can deal with the increased interior noise.

Also if you plan to add an off road mid pipe down the road, you may want to consider something else, because that combined with SLP LM is excessively loud.
