Building a modular street beast...

I have already set the bar for a modular daily driver (9.67 @ 141) driven to and from the track with the AC and radio on multiple times...

Allow me to give you a peek at the future of modular power.

A twin turbo water cooled system for a 1200 rwhp street car...

You live in cali so you should know that smog checks aren't required for 7 years on a new vehicle.

Looks great CK. You should post up over here more often. I've been following the build and it is going to be a force to be reckoned with for sure!

JOHNNY FIVE IS ALIVE!!!

NO DISASSEMBLE!!!

Ok, on a serious note...

Holy tubing batman!!! I like that location for the turbos, should keep them darn cool too, any reason why you routed the intake through the passenger side wheel well instead of driver's side? Weight balance? better fitment? avoid the steering system and stuff?

Because the inner cooler is in the passenger footwell - 1/2 in the firewall-1/2 out. It's about efficiency. The air travels directly to the cooler and then less than a foot to the TB. (The intake is reverse mounted)

The entire system is designed to make the most amount of power, run as cool as possible, and spool the turbos as quickly as possible. I'm excited to get this thing on the track.

Looks good... With it being a "street car" what are you going to do to protect the turbos? Catching a rock in one would suck.

We had these little filters for them but I was at a race recently where a guy had used a fine mesh screen with a v-band over his big single. I liked the idea and am probably going to copy it.
