nsr stage 2 comp cams and turbo?


will it hurt anything? or should it work just fine?

Nope you should be fine with that setup. It is all about the lobe center angle. I think it needs 115 or better....something like that. Call THP they know.

You can make damn near any cams work its all about what you want. With that being said some cams will have better gains though. NSR FI cams will yeild a better gain than NSR N/A cams but if that is what you want then they can make it work just less rwhp then the other cams etc.

did a study a little while ago... with turbo's, overlap isnt as important as you think... the IO and EC are about the two most important events to a turbo cam.

in fact, in an issue of GM hightech about a year ago, three different cams where tested in a mild almost stock STS camaro... as I remember (long time ago), they kept adding overlap... down to a 109 I believe.. car's torque curve just kept getting lower and lower with added overlap... spool came on faster and top end did not suffer much.

a nitrous cam on a 113 made the most I believe.
