a bad plug a bad coil could cause a misfire but you need to scan it

It will be obvious when it's misfiring. The car will run roughly & feel like it's stumbling. Like has been said here, you need to get it scanned to verify what's wrong.

The reason I asked, twice now, although months apart, I've had a brief power loss after slowing to make a turn and while accelerating in 2nd gear it would happen. I'll be due for service soon and have the dealership run a scan....thanks guys
