To Whipple or Not to Whipple
I'm in a quandry!
I will NOT void the warranty on my 07 so my choices are: Wait out the 3-year warranty and install either a Paxton or Kenne Bell, which I truly prefer or Have a Ford Racing/Whipple installed NOW and maintain the warranty! VOTE

i'd go for it now, you may find that you'll be very happy with the whipple and if after the warranty is up and you aren't happy enough then sell it and buy the big bore from KB. by the way you do know that the power train warranty has been extended to go well beyond the standard 3/36,000. so the question is do you want to wait till you don't have a warranty on the engine and transmission also?

Do it now man, youll have more warrantied power, and if you get tired of it, change a pulley size, then when warranty runs out, forge your internals, and run some sick boost. Thats my plans anyways, but ive decided on KB now....

The Whipple is a helluva supercharger (twin-screw) and the kit includes EVERYTHING you will need to install. The tune supplied with the package also is dead on the money.
I was going to supercharge my 07 GT and did a ton of research - sounds like the same boat you are in now. I had decided on the Whipple, but ended up trading the GT in for a Shelby GT500. Anyway, just my opinion. |

Do it now. The Whipple makes great power and has nice bottom end numbers which you will like on the street.
