Windshield tint?

Has anyone had issues with their windshield tint? I just got my mustang tinted. When I walked outside, I noticed the windshield wasn't tinted??? They said the tint has problems laying down where the rearview mirror is and it would be an additional $20.???? Anyone else had this issue???

My car has the front windshield tinted and it was no problem for the guys who did it, hell, it looked like the windows took more time... All they did was, they placed the tint on the outside to cut it to size, and made the hole where the rearview mirror was, they removed the rearview mirror, placed the tint, and put the mirror back on.

I only paid 50 bucks to do the whole car and included one year wrranty.

I also have mine done. While it is drying you just need to keep pushing it down over the dot matrix (the black dots around the mirror) so it does not bubble. Looks great and cost me an extra $10.

I think they were just talking about the shaded top part of the windshield... I don't know of ANY shop that will tint your whole windshield... that would probably be a bad move... depending on the tint it could be VERY difficult to see out at night.

With 35% ( I have my windshield compleatly tinted) its not difficult at all to see at night... at first it a bit weird till you get adjusted, but now I can barely drive cars without tint since the headlight of other cars bother me.

Depending on the state tinting the whole windshield is not legal and here is MA you will not get an inspection sticker.

Damn! mine are industrial Tints, so they won't fade like normal car tint does. But 250 bucks, ouch, I would buy a short shifter before I'd get tint.
