Ghost AC

The last two days when I have started my car the AC comes on even though the knob is turned to off. I try turning the knob to different settings like feet only, defrost etc... and it all works but it wont turn off. then after about 2 minutes it will shut off. could I have fried my knob while using quick detailer?

Hmm that happen to me with a Ford I use to own. Sold it before I ever found out what was causing it.

Sounds like a possible vaccum problem or up under the center of your dash the control unit might have a stuck vent. You can drop your glove box by pushing on each side. Not sure how much you can do with it sounds like a warranty job for the dealer.

ya, i was definitely gonna take it into the dealer unless there was a quick fix for it. I swear I have the most random problems with my car. thanks for the replies though
