gauge install

well, just finished with the gauge install...i went with autometer cobalt boost, fuel pressure, and a/f. and the autometer a-pillar pod. and i must say...it looks horrible. the gauges are awesome but this pillar sucks! upgrading to the speed of sound pillar next payday. just a FYI for anyone looking at a-pillar pods, DO NOT get the autometer one, go with SOS...much better

you will be pleased with speed of sound, I know the guy that makes them. He is in my mustang club. I think they are the best looking guages/pod on the market out of any car! Too bad for the ricers, they have to put up with the crappy ones.

I love it when a ricer is in the parking lot and has guages but no turbo. The gauges say like, temp, fuel pressure, oil pressure. I start laughing so hard

Even Better!!!!> The bazooka nos speaker systems...Ive seen an import with 3 of them lined up in his trunk, fake lines and all run to them, custom painted trying to pass them off as nos tanks, and seen a few with them in the back windows trying to pull it off...

I cant wait for my twin bottles all nice and hidden

yea, I try to keep mine secret... you cant even see my intercooler with the grill I have, only thing that gives a hint is my guage pod. There is this HUGE group of ricer/importers that basically throw a freaking car show every friday/saturday night close by a huge movie theatre parking lot here in town... the only fast cars in the group is an STI with upgraded turbo and an S2000 with bolts ons but I spanked him in my old Mach1 with exhaust and intake...

My car almost sounds stock, hellion kit made my Borlas sound quiet "er" hopefully I can blow the doors off of that sti that all of them brag about... they are all like "yea, well this guy has an sti with upgraded turbo and shit, it's tyte yo" everyone else in the group has honda's, integras, neons, eclipses with boltons and hideous body work...

They all look like this or they are "whigger"

I know what a whigger and emo is.... read the post wrong

I need to take pictures next time they host a car show

They all ghetto park their cars and pop the hoods to their 4 bangers and some of them acutally pull out lawn chairs and sit next to their car... the only people that go to it are the people that are in it... sometimes I will park my stang way off and walk up to them and start asking everyone how much HP they have and what kind of cars they can beat.... they say the funniest BS

There was a honda prelude with intake and exhaust that tried to take on my old mach1 as well and I went from 40-70 in a few seconds and then let off.... it took him about 10-15 seconds for him to pass me, then he threw his hazards on like he won

He was in that ricer group so I parked behind the building they were having the "show" at and he started telling everyone he beat a heavily moddified Mach1 mustang

I noticed he had a little blue light flashing in his windshield so he had a viper alarm system in it... I went up to him and asked "why do you have a nice alarm system in a car that no one will steal" He kinda stood their and I mentioned I was the guy in the Mach1... he got really quiet

(he was in his mid 20's and I was 16 at the time too, he must have felt dumb and I felt like being an ass)
