Whipple supercharger questions

I'm about to order this S/C system for my 07. I dont want to spend much more than this. Is this a good buy and what are your thoughts on this model. Is it a hard install ? Thank you !

buying from Jared @ Lethal is great, I bought my whipple s/c from him too! the whipple kit is a very very easy install

HOWEVER, I would not buy a non-intercooled s/c! non-intercooled + forced induction = lots of heat = DETONATION! (BOOM!)

So this one would be a better investment for a daily driver ?

Not that kit either bro! thats the TUNER kit. that comes with just the blower and the hardware and intercooler. you will need to buy the fuel pump, the fuel injectors and get a tune.

its great for a daily driver, im pushing 475HP and 450TQ.

this is the kit you want. this is the complete kit

^^this comes with everything you need to do the job^^ GT500 fuel pump, Ford Racing Tune and Ford Racing Fuel Injectors, everything!

my time so far was a 12.4 on stock tires and i had a hard time hooking up that day, no one was hooking up. but with some DRs I think I can nail a 12 easily or possibly high 11s

yes they do fit the 2007 Mustang. Just be sure to talk to jared @ lethal when you go to order!

Pardon me for asking, but what kind of mileage do you get with this thing installed?

Would love to drop one into my Summer daily driver '07 GT, but don't want to make it TOO impractical.

Thanks,
John

I'm asking because I thought it would be cool to tune 400+ to 600+ on the fly...

my tuner said you can expect a little gas mileage loss when putting on a supercharger because the engine is having to turn it and you lose even more when you hit boost and extra fuel is injected but driving it like a normal slow person it should be close to stock....

I'm getting a turbo and it wont touch my gas mileage until I hit 2,800RPM I ordered the kit today and it will go in a little over a week from now...
