haha, thats pretty funny man...6500 just covers the kit first of all. boost pressure doesnt make the engine blow, its the total hp you are putting out that ends up doing it. Blower pressure doesnt increase cylinder pressure, horsepower does....theres a post either on here, or mustang forums that talks about it.

With the supporting mods you need to safely run 10-12 psi on twins, its going to be from 10,000 to 12,000...including a forged shortblock/internals, twin pumps, headwork, fuel system, driveshaft, rear end/axles, transmission, and a few other things...

obviously ur not gonna go over the 500rwhp safety for the stock shit.. and every1 is saying ur gonna blow at that.. u wont.. u just need a good tuner.. is wat i meant if ur gonna spend the money on it might as well pay for good tuner...

as i was leaning towards this kit.. i see its more effective (easier as well, with 1 turbo to tune) to just go single and use the other money to beef up the stang and support more power.. so it sickens me to say it but right now my funds are only letting me go single.... hopefully i can squeeze out some more cash maybe go twins idk.. its still a possibility... too many variables as usual

It might be best to just pull your 4.6 motor and transmission, sell it, and throw in the GT500 motor and transmission. Those engines can handle over 700hp easy!

hey dblind,

I was wondering, does THP supply everything to get it installed uncluding relocation brackets and so on for all the stuff you have to move to fit those puppies in there?

Does it come with a tune and fuels pumps as well?

thanks man,
Michael

6psi 500+rwhp....how much was the kit?

thats kinda of high for 6psi...thats over a 200rwhp gain...thats pretty fukin sweet if you got that much off a stock engine...
with better heads and a cam i bet you'd see a shit ton more power

im still in shock about the 6psi and 12psi chart...ive never seen a twin turbo kit give that much of a power gain

Thats what Blow-By-Racing got out of the car. they are known for their ability to tune a car. They managed 6PSI for 514RWHP. The kit costs 6500 for everything including all the components to move the battery to the trunk to allow for the second turbochager to sit up in the engine bay. THP also has it were you can buy upgraded intercoolers, larger plugs, and even larger turbos for drag aplications. The basic kit though will give you 514RWHP...its an awesome deal.

Most do, some dont, i know Hellion pretty much keeps you covered, thats why there more expensive, but read up on some different manufacters and see which kit would fit you, Quick time turbo's, Hellion, HP performance, THP, just to name a few good kits

I was told the hellion is the best fit/finish/complete turbo kit out there, I cant remember if my tuner had to order a boost-a-pump with it or not...

I just looked at my email and Jim had replied back to me explaining the kit and what it offers. The kit is 100% complete. You will not have to buy anything for the kit to make the horspower they publish which is 800+RWHP. Now what he explained to me is this. If you want to make more than 800rwhp then all you have to do is call him and explain what you need. He will uprgade your sparks, intercooler, fuel pump, ETC...probably one of the best guys for the money. You are dealing with someone who makes rediculous power and cares about his customers.

Think about this....THP doesnt have that much advertisment out there....Hellion, STS, and those others do. So of course they will have more hype....but there is no cutting, welding, or any other modifications to the car other then relocating the battery box...and honestly if you are going to spend the money to have a twin turbo set up why would you want to hide them under the engine were no one can see. I love the fact that THP is the first to place the turbos up top in plain site.

The only thing I have a problem with is that Blow-By-Racing wants 2200 for install. $275 is a little excessive per hour for install. Especially when they only hook it all up.

Does anyone know of a someone that does installs in Ft. Myers-Naples area...possible will do the install for 100 to 200 per hour? LET ME KNOW

yea he told me the same stuff when i emailed him.

having the turbos under the car i think is the STUPIDEST idea ever. yea it makes your car seem like a "sleeper" but who cares...i want people to know what i can do to their car.

plus....how dangerous is that having turbos on the underrbody prone to enviromental damage, and other road hazards.
