How do you get good gas mileage with an XCal?

Ok, so of course I ride it hard and put it away wet burning up the streets on Doug's tunes. (I've got an 87 perf, 91 perf and 91 torq.) But I'm about to embark on a long trip on Monday and wondering which tune will give me the best gas mileage?

Also, does anybody else just prefer their torque tune over their performance tune? Cause I do and curious if I'm alone....

I have found the 91 torque tune, which improves your power in the lower half of the rpm range, gives me the best mpg. I have picked up about 3 mpg on the highway from the tune & my CAI.

The performance tune is nice if you stretch out the rev limiter with your tuner, and pound the shit out of your motor at high rpm's, as I may have been accused of doing occasionally. lol
