20" Foose wheels and Baer brake kits.

Hey guys.

I just recent purchased 20" Foose Nitrous wheels and the Baer GT Plus 14" brake rotor kit for my '05 GT. The problem I have is the rear wheels are 20x10 and the calipers on the rear brake kit are too close to my wheels. My installer said I wouldn't be able to use spacers to extend past the rear quarter with the fear of cutting a tire or damaging my rear quarter panel and would need a new wheel and tire package in order for to use my baer 14" rear rotors. Now I've seen the Foose Stallion series Mustangs use the same wheel and brake package with no trouble. My question is there a specific spacer I can use so I can have my new rear brake rotors or is my installer just blowing smoke up my a**? Any advice would be greatly appeciated.

Thanks..

too closer on a 20" rim?????? they shoyld fit fine. unless your 20's have a deep dish look to it where the spoke will hit the caliper. if thats the case. a 10MM spacer should be fine.

here's mine with my bullit 18's. only thing I needed was 1" spacers to clear the caliper from inner most wheel.

20's you shouldn't be having fitment issues, you should at least have 1.1.5" space between the wheels.

if a 10MM spacer is needed, then buy the one's from baer.

you want to see close??

this is how close mine are with my bullits with 1" wheel spacers:

Maverick:

My front wheels which are 20 x 8.5 fit fine with no trouble with the wheel spacers The back wheels are the 20 x 10 deep dish. I was wondering if you had any pics of the rear wheel set up. I'll be calling Baer for further info. Thanks for the advice

funny thing, my rears didnt need the wheel spacers, they would of slid on fine withlout the spacers. I just got the spacers on the rear to fit and look identical to the stance of the front ones.
