Questions on Whipple S/C

I've been doing some reading on both whipple and Kenne bell. The only thing thing that i cant find on Whipple is how much HP does the kit support. I read that the K/B will support 850 hp w/ proper mods and higher boost, but all i here about the whipple is that it gives you 450 to the wheel hp. Is that it or can you take it further and do they make different size pulleys for the Whipple.

the whipple you can take within the same range of 800-900Hp, they do make a 24PSI pulley which I think is the highest they make. you cant go wrong with the whipple blower, its a great blower.

I also have the H.O. whipple kit for my 05 mustang, and couldn't be happier. and i was in a debate between that and the KB, and decided on whipple.

hey thanks, i'm thinking on going with whipple because i haven't heard any problems w/them. now one more question and that is do you have to use the ford tune or can you go with the Diablo or x-cal or any of those?

The Whipple also comes with a complete kit - everything you need to install the s/c. Also, the Whipple is a twin screw. You will not go wrong with the Whipple.

Talk to your local Ford dealer... many of them will install the Whipple without voiding your factory warranty.

Good luck and enjoy.

you can use either the FRPP tune or get a custom dyno tune with a diablo or SCT. Personally, if your going to be building power and building your block for 600+ HP, then go the dyno tuning route. If not, then go with the FRPP tune. I'm happy to report no problems with the FRPP tune and the tune is right on the money, with spark, timing, a/f ratio.
