im the origionator. for me its not all about being able to brake late in the corners, its being able go 8-10 laps w/o having it weel like there is a water balloon stuck under the pedal.

What my buddy the Mech told me was that water ballon feel is break dust build up and heat, and he told me that if I would just get high quality drilled/ported rotors, they have a little slant to the holes that help to clean the disk and cool it. I was wanting to know from someone who has them with the original break set up; Do they work good, alright, or what? Your question is awsome Redfire and the came about when I started looking up the price of whole break replacement!

Nice links Grabber. I want to upgrade mine too, but its not first on my list. I gotta agree with Ryan to a certain extent. I put FRPP drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads on all 4 corners of my 98 and it has been great. Rotors have been on for a few years now.
