Axle-Back Exhaust = new tune?

I know there's no HP performance gain to be had by adding axle-backs to our 05+ stangs, so I assume no tune modification is necessary...but just wanted to make sure. I just ordered the FRPP/Borla AB's, so do you guys know if i need a re-tune?

Cool, thanks. The CAI arrives tomorrow, but I've already got the new tune ready to download

is it a custom tune or is it just your run of the mill tune for 87, 89, and 91?

Well it's as custom as a non-dyno tune can be...I gave them the my stang's computer code and the mods made to my car, they did the rest. I'll let ya know how the updated tune works after I install my CAI tomorrow. I plan on doing it in my work's parking garage as soon as UPS gets there haha...hopefully I don't get stranded if something goes wrong

you shouldn't but be sure to save you stock tune and keep all the parts. i think the only tools you need is a couple sockets. oh i was wondering what tune cause i would have told you about custom tunes to include your mods.

Not all CAI's require a tune...K&N for example does not require one.
