Just wanted to tell you about the ride home tonight. My wife is in KC visiting her sister, one of my sons is in Austrialia on an academic scholarhip student ambassador junket so it's just my three other boys and I.

Went to Mom & Dad's and watched Benchwarmers, had a blast since I coach my 10 year old's little league team and a lot of that movie really spoke to me...

On the ride home, I released the horses. My 6 year old was really impressed by how the car "pushed him back in his seat" and my 10 year old was asking what was burning. He laughed out loud when I told him it was our back tires!

My 14 year old has stars in his eyes thinking about when he can drive dad's car. He wanted me to turn down the AC/DC so he could hear the engine and tires scream better. When we got home my two younger boys said that was better than any rollercoaster they have been on.

Awesome.

Hey I know exactly what your talking about. I remember the many times I rode with my stepdad in his '89 GT. I thought I was the coolest kid in school cuz I had been 130mph. He planted the seed on those back rodes then and now I'm 22 with my own 07 thats been faster than the speedo can read and I never get tired of it. As soon as I get home next week I plan on doing the same with my lil brother so that he grows up with the same passion that I did. Lets hope one of your children carry on your legacy.
