sway bars

Im thinking of upgrading my sway bars, since our cars are not the best corner carvers.
Hotchkis has the biggest ones out there, and i have always heard good things about them.
they have a 1.5" front and 1" rear tubular kit.
ive been told the fronts are fine, just do the rear, but i want some more opinions.,
itf the front is big enough, should i just BMR's or H&R's drag race rear sway bar in? i want cornering and traction.

Your 06 Mustang GT has a stabilizer bar. 34mm I believe.

That's what a stabilizer bar is. Unless you are referring to a strut brace or something.

there is a cheapo on ebay for 69.99, thats a double bar. actually doesnt look too bad. I either want the steeda (like 200) or the granatelli one (150)

I don't know about that, MM....let's have them get closer together and then make that call. If they should so happen to touch each other while doing this research, well that's just a price we'll have to pay now, isn't it.

I've got a Steeda billet strut brace which I'd avoid. It's rose-jointed either end so the damn thing flops. Can't see the point of it. But the S-197 is stiff anyway and it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. To square it up, use the BMR bottom A-arm bar as well.

FWIW, I replaced my suspension with Tokico D-Specs and Roush springs coupled with 35 profile tires and haven't had to change the sway bars at all.

Have to say MM's girl is strangely hypnotic but I'd like to see that research being extended.

MM stole MSO's avatar... everytime I see that avi, It confobulates me... I'm in favor of the extended research though.

Also, MM, you may want to check a Watts link if you're a corner carver.

actually, i got it from a friend on another local forum who changed...

my car is somewhat of a compromise between drag and cornering...im not 100% in either way, I love autocross, and I love drag...i guess adjustable suspension, here I come!

I would go watts, but for 1200 of a saleen one, Id rather beef my sways, get all adjustable shocks, and lower it with BMR's package.
