Idle problem /// Need some help !

When I am driving and push in my clutch, my idle will move up and down from 500 to 800 until I come to a complete stop. I have checked for vac leaks, changed my pcv valve, checked for exhaust leaks. I do not think it is my tune because I put it back to stock and it still done it.

I have an 05 gt with a vortech s-trim, xpipe, flowmasters and 4:10 gears. It seems that it did not start until my gears were installed. Maybe just a coinsidence.

any help would be great !!!!

is your air filter on your S/C breathing okay ? Idle is when the engine is at its weakest for sucking air. If you have blockage, this is where it could be.
Fuel too.

replace fuel filter. Before that though I'd go and buy gas from somewhere else. It could be gas. And, based on your tune for your S/C, you could be running the wrong octane.

I usually buy 93 octain, when I buy 92 octain I cant tell any difference. I have not checked the fuel filte. I will check and see what it is tuned for.

GO to your garage and get a tune and/or your tune looked at. Follow the specs for gas that they tell you to the letter. Given you are supercharged, it could be the tune.

Drain all the fuel out of your system. Have a bonfire. Roast some weiners. Fill up at a different gas station that gets more business. Had the same thing when I filled up at a casino gas pump...loosely regulated...also got a lot of surging when I opened the throttle. Only thing I can think is the PCM was pulling timing waaaay out...

I thought it couldn't possibly be gas with my 350z either...I was just filling up at the wrong gas station...new gas and it never came back.

I have noticed something else today, if I am in neutral and I just tap the gas pedal down like an 1/8 of an inch the idle goes down to 500 then goes back to 900 where it is set.
