X-Pipe the answer?
Alright, I know this should 'technically' go in the 'exhaust section' but I want feedback for OUR cars and not every mustang ever made...that being said.
Right now I've got Flowmaster Amer. Thund. axlebacks but they just doesn't seem loud enough. I still want that deep throaty sound, not OBNOXIOUSLY loud (i don't want to sound like an old farm truck) but louder than I am now...ya know...a decent attention getter. Would an X-pipe be my answer? I've got K&N CAI and a good tune already, but that's the extent of my performance parts. What is the best X-pipe out there?

X pipes make it sound more high pitched and ricey...pretty sure that's not what you're going for...want loud? Long tube headers...get the cats out of there... I bet those Flows will growl pretty once they get some more air to them.

i dont know how much you are looking to spend but a pro chamber would get ou that sound...but they run between 400 and 450, mac makes a good prochamber..
but as for an x-pipe you can go UPR they make one for like 165.00 but that is a o/f x-pipe i dont no if that is what you want or you want a catted one,.... go to this site they have alot of different brands, with info about them.. http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...mid-pipes.html |

Raspy is a better description...I like the smooth burble of the stockers, personally...

Got the same thing..
Flowmaster AT looking for a good midpipe and headers But I was wondering if anyone had any clips of the prochambers on the 05-07 model. I loved them on the previous model. But I have to wonder if they would sound close to the same on the newer model? |

Hey Flattus, yeah that definitely doesn't sound ricey, but it does sound a bit higher pitch than I'm looking for. I want deeper sound but still loud. I do like that Bassani set up RedFire, but I wonder how the bassani catted X would sound with Flowmaster axle backs....I'm gonna do a bit of searching and see if I can find a vid.
