I was looking into getting the package option D: The Drag pac

Im leaning towards the C&L Racer intake and a SCT strategy tuner

you would be better offer ordering from bamachips or brenspeed. Also there have been a lot of complaints about rpmoutlet.

it seems like a good deal. the tuner and the intake seperatly are $658.95, or $500 for the intake/tuner combo. i wonder what the level of quality is for the pulleys. IMO steeda's pulleys are the best. but that seems like a hell of a deal.

ive looked into it, but for the same price of the same intake and programmer only from brenspeed, you get the pulleys and bbk throttle body plus the intake and tuner. plus i would probably end up going to lethal performance to get it dyno tuned with some long tube headers motion delete plates and have them throw a hurst short throw in there. so the tuner would be retuned anyways

The T/B sucks anyway. Many people have had a lot of problems with them.

I heard the Granatelli is garbage!! I've heard people with the BBK and are happy, I think its the spring in them that has to be just right of it will act crazy. May be the install not the tb. I dont know from experience though.

well ive decided not to go with it....its just not worth risking putting cheap parts on a car that cost as much as an 07 mustang. We dont drive cheap rice burners that you can pick up for 500.

After talking, about 5 minutes ago, to a friend of the family who is over here right now, he suggested that i let him build my car. He is the US distributor for AMFLEET gas additives. We show Dobermans and we have known him for 10years and i never new this about him. He is a smart ass guy when it comes to engines. he pulled out a bottle of powerlene and put a little in my tank and after running it for five minutes....HOLY COW, you could FEEL a difference and the Assdynometer read higher HP and TQ.

but anyways, im just going to go with a CAI, tune and cat back with highflow cats. That will get me the throttle response i want and the sound i want. and then he is going to put a tranny cooler, new gears, new control arms, and order me some Nitto 555r's

The BBK's are gold...the Granni's SUCK BALLS. I had the billet one, and was troubles from day one. Ruined my TPS sensors, and had to buy a new assembly from ford (378$)
The BBK's with PLASTIC gears are the way to go. Metal gears screw with the tps motor, cause of more weight (like putting an aluminum flywheel on our cars vd the steel ones, or driveshaft replacements)

The factory tb has plastic gears, the bbk one does too, just gives it a better throttle response too.
