135 rwhp... less than $10 per hp...Need I say more? Evolution Performance...they seem good with the GT500.

DO NOT BUY FROM EVOLUTION PERFORMANCE!!! I SAY THAT WITH RESPECT TO YOUR CAR AND FOR THE THREAT OF YOUR WALLET!!! The guys @ Evolution are the biggest dicks in the world and they have scammed people out of hundreds of dollars. Fred, the owner and operator of evolution is the biggest asshole you'll meet, all he cares about is himself and not his customers. his customer service is terrible next to getting Dell Support for your computer! (if you have a dell) dont believe everything you read about their GT500 running in the 9's. the truth is about their so called GT500 tunes, is that its a copy tune. when the GT500 came out, they couldnt tune the car, they had to have an SCT rep from the factory/company come out and tune the car, using evolutions computer and dyno. once the car was tuned by the SCT rep, they just slapped the name evolution performance on it and said thet "they tuned" the car and every GT500 owner out there with a JLT intake and tune is running that same copy tune.
other history you should know about evolution, is not just the customer service, but how they screwed a lot of people and Fred comes back and gives it to you in the ass. He's tuned many 03-04 cobra's, older years mustangs, even terminators. the problem was his tunes were horrible and sooo far fetched, its no wonder why his customers came back screaming cause their cars weren't runnin. people report blowing just about anything they can think of in their engines, cause evolutions tunes were sooooooo advanced and the timing and spark was just off the charts its no wonder why these cars detonated!! when people went to go get the tunes fixed, fred's response was, "it's your car, not our problem!!" ive been to their shop and got no respect there when shopping for a part for my vehicle, this was before I found out how much of an asshole Fred @ evolution was. he was an even bigger asshole at the recent All Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA. just a shop full of assholes. my list can go on about Fred and his buddies over @ evolution, but i'm coming to you as a friend/mustang enthusiast to NOT BUY from them, cause if u do you will regret it in the end if you get screwed with their tune and you cant get a fix for it, you'll get the shaft just like everyone else has gotten, and fred takes off with your money with bells and whistles. Look into vendors you can trust like Brenspeed, BamaChips, Alternative Auto, TillmanSpeed, VMP Tuning, JDM Performance or even STEEDA! Steeda has great CAI/tuner packages for the GT500. you really want to know more about Evolution performance, give the guys @ TillmanSpeed a call. talk to Harry tillman or CR (Chris Rose), they are 5 min down the road from them in aston PA, all the people that got screwed by Fred @ evolution all went to Tillmanspeed and got their tune issues fixed for FREE!!! Tillmanspeed was looking out for the customers and not their money, ever since then, all Fred's customers darted and started doing business with Tillmanspeed and stay there, cause they are treated like customers and customer service is their #1 priority above anything! |

sorry for sh!tty info cam...i too looked at that 9 sec gt500...
The steeda pulley is 3lb...you might look at livernois, with a 4lb pulley http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...t.phtml?p=1514 might check around for a 6lb, a 3.10 (correct me if I am wrong) the 4lb is a 2.8. My nitto 555r'S are 315 35 17, and i can break em loose...try the BFG Drag 315 30 18 since youre going to have a tuner. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-315...QQcmdZViewItem The bfg lasts usually 5k miles, trying, and my nittos are a little under half gone at 5k...its how you drive em, but the BFG's WILL NOT LAST AS LONG, but are STICKIER.

I might put some slicks on for 1/4 but I mostly run on street from a roll I hook up at about 40mph im trying to get were I can beat new ZO6 wont take much Its pretty close stock for stock Ive raced one we tied. Any sugestions on pulley size they actually only make about 5psi stock vs the 9psi they claim.
Some want A Knn Cai really cheap come boys it must go |

if you want to run slicks just buy some GT take-off wheels and put some 26x11.50-17 MT ET streets on em. or you gould go the gig and skinny route.

newer year cars, all mods are going to be expensive and in 2008 or 2009 when the body change goes into effect and the new motor is in, guess what, the prices will drop significantly.
