i haven't changed the clutch with those superchargers but just from general knowledge i know that there would be no need to remove the blower, and im almost positive you dont have to remove the k member. you just have to drop the trans.

tried dropping the trans and the supercharger hits the firewall, i was wondering if it would be easier to drop k member or pull supercharger off

went to track last night and first pass was 12.7@109 after driving 93 miles so made one more pass 12.6@109. let the car sit hour and a half went 12.3@113, let sit for hour 12.3@112,put race tune in 12.5@112 with race tune, car would quit pulling at top end of 3rd and 4th and the clutch smell started. the last pass was with race tune and it made 50 more rwhp on dyno and didn't pick up at all

My hellion kit is only throwing out 420rwhp right now at 7 psi and my clutch went out in 2 weeks! I didn't even drive it that hard... it never gave off the burn clutch smell??? just punch the gas and the car was not as fast and rpms would rev without getting anywhere fast.... also noticed sometimes it felt like it wasn't even in gear

To get back to your question, I take it when you go to pull the trans your having to tilt the motor back a bit in the engine mounts and this is when the blower hits. If you don't have enough clearance to seperate the motor and trans because of the blower touching the firewall, then the quickest thing to do is pull the blower.

the hydrolics are tricky on these cars, if you are not experienced then it's a big no no to do on your own... you will need 2 people to do it
