Map/dome lights

They take hours to turn off, no combination of buttons pressed, roll switch on dash, door closing, trunk shutting has made an impact.

It started 3 days ago when we had 93+ degree weather (No clouds) and car sat in the sun for 12 hours.

The lights stay on while I am driving which is a big pain in the ass. Anyone here have the same problem?

I have to find a new dealership to service the car since the one I got this car from is now out of bidness.

Easy fix for me or dealer do?

I cannot figure it out. Everything is shut and turned off and the lights still stay on. The message center has nothing on it and nothing is broken.

It is the dealerships problem.

If they had red or blue lens covers that would be a cool addition.

If it constantly stays on the switch must be broken. There is a company out there that makes an LED replacment kit for the dome lights so I'm sure you could put different color LEDs in there or just buy the type of bulb that fits in there in the color you want.
