nitto DR drivability


can i use or is it smart to use nitto dr's as my daily driver tires? like in the rain if i be real careful is the car driveable or will i be all over the road?

Check this out, lee: Nitto

It says it's for dry handling, and the little graph there shows low wet performance. I would call Nitto and ask if I were you. IT only takes once to lose it in the rain.

hey Lee,

I run the 555s on the front and the 555Rs on the rear, and they are GREAT for daily driving...
they get great traction in the rain for a drag radial, but at higher speeds (70+) with puddles on the road, they hydroplane slightly, kinda like when your front tires pull in a puddle and thats all.

I also have wide tires on all 4 corners, so this increases it.
275 40 fronts and 315 35 rears.

yea it does a lot...im suppose to be getting my wheels and tires tomorrow when i wake up and still dont know what kind of tires i want...but coming from someone experienced with the tires is what i needed....THANX

yea and instead of the badguy being a saleen they should had a GTO. and show our mustang whoopin some pontiac ass! because in real life we usually get are asses handed to us from those damn ugly iron boards

its so much better when the gf is with them, and just snickers at you trying to race em, and watching her jaw drop when you pass by, lol
