glad to hear it Fox.. definately not something I would want to go through. Not sure I could have kept a calm head. I'm notorious for making my situation worse by acting like a jack azz with my loud mouth.

Im pretty sure the dealer and I have mutual feelings for each other right now. We would preffer not to see each other. I just took alot of money straight from the managers pockets. The check to have everything taken off and put back on came from him and the new motor came from ford.

Just curious, did you bother asking about whose mistake it was in not putting oil in the car and what happened to them? I mean, I wouldn't expect them to respond with "we fired him" or "the price of the motor is coming out of his paycheck" but I'd just be happy with a simple "justice will be served!"

I didnt talk to the manager, but I did have a few conversations with the head tech ( who was doign my motor swap ). He said they fired him at 8am the next morning. Hate to have something like that happen to someone becuase of me, but I think this time it was justified.

How about one more plug for the dealer who took care of you. I bought mine from Serramonte Ford in the San Francisco area. I took my complaints about them all the way to the ford mothership. The were going to satisfy me but I turned it down because I wanted the capital needed to work on my car to come from Serramonte Ford. The mothership Ford couldn't do something that particular (I didn't expect them too, I just really really wanted to drive my point home).
