Scuff... Rubing Compound?

Hi All,

Got my first scratch somehow in the parking ramp at work. Pretty superficial. Looks like a white crayon mark.

Can someone recommend a scratch removal product or rubbing compound that they have tried and found to be safe on our clearcoat finishes? Also, any application tips would be helpful.

Thanks!
John

turtle wax has a nice rubbing compound.
just use a damp rag when you apply it and don't rub hard.

another good brand is scratchX

Just use a clearcoat compound. Just don't buff too much or you will wear away at your finish. make sre your applicator is kept wet at all times. It will come out like new.

Ha ha! Yeah. She is a honey...

When I met my wife we were both in the military. I was ARMY, she NAVY. It was March in Florida so all the NAVY chicks were wearing their Spring white uniforms with the skirt. Drove me totally nuts when I got there straight out of boot camp.

I've always had a thing for chicks in uniform and I got me one.!

This pic brings back some fond memories. Glad you like it!

That's Catherine Bell and you can see her DD's pressed together in a lace top in Bruce Almighty. The picture was from an episode of JAG.

LOL. Was not suggesting that my avatar was a pic my bride. I already outed my avatar as the JAG chick in another thread somewhere. It's pretty obvious if you have seen the show. I think it even says JAG in the top right corner of the pic.

Still, it does bring back great memories of my litle NAVY gal.

Did not realize that was her in Bruce Almighty. But I do remember thinking she was pretty hot. Even without the uniform...

Thanks for the clay bar thought Modern! And speaking of avatars...
