cams and gears
There is a comp cam kit that brenspeed.com has for $1,000. does anyone know
1. how much to install the cams 2. get a new tune for it for my sct livewire 3. will I have to get new gears total price would be???

Well, I don't know specifics but expect to pay enough for cam install. According to the guy I bought my cams and heads from he couldn't send me a tune for my SCT tuner only for predators so I need dyno tuning. Perhaps you can find someone to do it for you. It's not that expensive. As for gears I did go with 4.10s because (depending on how big of lift/duration you go with, you will lose low end torque and power. The gears will help keep you of in the correct power band and you should see some really nice performance gains.

BTW I meant maybe you can find a dealer to send you a reflash tune. Dyno prices around here are 125/hour unfortunately way more than a reflash!

Depending on how crazy you want to get you will need lower gears. If you plan on going FI down the road go with 3.73s, but if not 4.10s. I've heard as much as $1000 for a cam install, then about $400-$500 for gears I think.
